No just playing the waiting game but Friday should be a nice day,so maybe in the evening they may appear. The chair was down the site until 9.30pm and they didn't appear. The phone number we have is wrong so we have as yet made no direct contact with him

Have you been up there when the old people are there on their own and asked them what is happening - perhaps they might tell you.

I would say a call to the local social services after you have heard their comments might get results. These old people would not do this willingly - would you?

This is so far out of the ordinary range of human behaviour, no much wonder Marathon is feeling worried and full of doubts - only an unreasonable person wouldn't !
But let's face it, no-one here can think of any good reason for such bizarre goings-on. The best you can hope for as an explanation is that this is a dodgy care home worker/owner who is using a labourforce who have no wish/ability to say no. More or equally likely, this is someone with untreated mental health issues who is a loose cannon. And if they are making inappropriate comments to women on first meeting, being truculent regarding reasonable concerns, and everyone's emotional alarms are going off, well I'd say trust your instincts, Mother Nature has been honing them for half a million years.
I cannot believe those coppers were so gormless that they didn't think of sectioning. You have an aggressive man bringing inappropriately dressed vulnerable persons to an unsafe area in the middle of the night doing things which disturb the neighbours, and to judge by the reactions here leave any rational person dumbfounded and worried, and they don't think of Section 2 of the Mental Health Act which specifically permits or requires them to take into custody for psychiatric assessment any person who may be suspected as likely to cause harm to him/herself or others by virtue of his/her behaviour ? I'd put a written complaint about it in to the local superintendent, and make sure to point out how badly their inaction will look in the newspapers. That if nothing else will make sure that they cross their Ts and dot their I's - bad publicity will ruin career prospects.

Sorry rustylady and others for lack of update -have to be quick as little one's first of three visits to pre-school at 1pm.

We have not seen him. The chair and onen other have been taking turns in stying on the site until 9.30ish. At a guess I would say that he'll be up when the weather is better. All ready the small section that was worked now has plenty of weeds. WE don't appear to have the correct details for him, the council also want us to try and get the keys back before we tack anymore action as they are worried that he may cause trouble.

As soon as something happens I'll repeort back.
