My Allotment

Here are three pictures of my allotment, the first is the plot that the council have dug over for me, I also have the plot next door which I have started digging in various beds, still away to go with the digging but getting there slowly but surely.

I tried to sort out some beds today on the ready dug plot but the mud was very sucky, I nearly lost my boots on a couple of occasions so I gave up and just measured the perimeter to work out the space.

Bex - that looks fab! Youve done really well so far - and good luck with your new plots! Despite Nicks advice re: photos, unfortunately I'm still struggling to get them sorted on my pc - another job for the OH methinks! Dexterdog

Wow Bex, looks good! Certainly in better condition than the one we took on 10 weeks ago, I hope you have as much fun preparing it for next years planting as we have had! Please keep us all informed of how you get on and what you've been up to!

Thanks Mrs D, planning on having a path down the middle of the dug one, with asparagus at the front and potatoes in most of the rest of that side. I'm putting lagumes and brasicas in the one I'm digging myself I think. The rest of the space not sure yet!
