  • chillies not setting

I have two chilli plants on the window cill (east facing) theyare in 9 inch long pots and have now reached the top of the window, and are 4ft 6 ins high.
One is a peach habernero the other is a jalapeno, and both are covered in flowers and have been for 2-3 weeks, but there are no chillies forming, despite tickling with a paint brush while making absurd buzzing noises(can't hurt right?)
I am feeding twice a week with tomorite and they have never dried out ,Any suggestions?
And no I'm not putting a beehive in the room!

Sounds like the plants are struggling for light (and too warm) if they are that tall!!

If the plants are getting too hot than they will drop their flowers without setting. Spraying the flowers/plants can help with setting.
    cheers

Thanks graham s will try misting as it could be a humidity issue, there is no struggle for light though the plants are both very bushy and not leggy at all,out with the paint brush again ..........all together now Buuuuuuuzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
