Was hoping for a bit of advice from you guys I want to rotivate/ use a tiller on my plot but last time I used a rotivator it did nothing but kick top soil at me it was an attachment to a Ryobi so that may be it. I was wondering is it worth buying one I want it to turn the plot over and not stop when weeds get caught up in it. Any advice/help would be appreciated

I wouldn't have thought it was worth buying one. Personally I wouldn't want one, as I find that they chop up perennial weed roots and spread them far and wide which results in many more perennial weeds that will eventually have to be dug out by hand. If you must use one, then contact your site secretary and ask if they have one you could hire or borrow.

If you are on heavy soil you will need a 5hp machine. It is like plowing a feild with 2 horses....at the end of the day you know about it.
I use mine twice a year....and know about it the day after. My phone has more Processing power than the Computers NASA used to fake the Moon Landings

Thanks all. I do want to use one and I do want to have the same effect as plowing a field. We dont have a site club or secratery just one man owns the land and each one is seperated by 8ft of privet all round so you can't see the next person on theirs(although I did go and introduce myself to everyone)
