Places like LBSgarden Warehouse and Harrod Horticultural do online deals of various types of weed suppressing membrane, but my local garden centre is almost as cheap and I can just pick it up. Saves delivery mileage from a long way away.History teaches us that history teaches us nothing. - Hegel

Carpet can do the job but lots of allotment sites don't allow it. Very old hesian backed ones are better than modern ones which are treated with nasty chemicals. When they do fall apart it can be horribly difficult to get rid of all the bits left behind.History teaches us that history teaches us nothing. - Hegel
