Questions for the steward

i am off to see the lottie plot in the morning, the steward is showing me round. i am a complete novice when it comes to allotments - what are the essential questions i should be asking?

When can i start clearing it up and how close is the tap....jacob

If it floods anywhere. Are you allowed shed/greenhouse/polytunnel? Is there a tap nearby, and are you allowed a hose to fill your water butts or is it watering can only? Are there any rules about fruit trees? Is there a muck delivery and how often? Do they have rules about plastic/carpets being used for weed suppression? Do they have any problems with vandals? If the plots are fenced, who is responsible for which ones. If they aren't fenced, who is responsible for which paths.
