    Hello all was just looking for a bit of advice I was wondering what would be best to plant now i.e. seeds bulbs and plug plants any help would be greatly appreciated thanks all

      Spring Cabbage...Japaneze Onions ..Garlic and i have got away with planting Purple Sprouting Brocoli in september before now so plenty to plant..good luck....jacob

        Oriental greens grow very fast I sawed some pak choi, oriental mustard a few days ago, they have already germinated. Maybe you could try them. You can try rocket and radish as well. You should be able to harvest some before winter.

            From Alan Titchmarsh's The Kitchen Gardener:

            Sow indoors
            parsley, annual marjoram, dill (for leaves), coriander (for leaves)
            Sow under cover:
            Turnips (late August), winter purslane (Claytonia), pak choi, carrots (early varieties), French beans (dwarf)
            Sow outside
            Spinach (spring/autumn varieties), salad leaves (mixed), rocket, radishes, winter purslane (Claytonia), Chinese mustard greens, mizuma, pak choi, onions (overwintering varieties), winter-hardy spring onion varieties, Chinese cabbages, carrots (early varieties), sweet cicely, summer and winter savory.
            Plant outside
            Strawberries

              I'm going to plant some garlic, onions, spring cabbage, turnip, carrots and spuds (hopefully for some new ones at Christmas.)
