Setting up allotment societies

Has anyone else been involved in this or is anyone a member of a management committee and can advise on legal structure? I have a lovely document detailing some of the different formats we can have (we're keen on ones that limit personal liability for the committee), but wanted to see what people have done/are doing in real life.

Also..if you have any tips on the best bank account from personal experience? I'm leaning towards the Co-operative bank, myself..
