  • Any ideas folks

I have tried the Feeling Fruity forum and have only had one reply but can anyone tell me what this fruit is or have they seen this before. I took a photo of this when in Tenerife on my hols. They were served to us in the hotel restaurant and when i asked the waiter what they were he did not know the name of them and just said that they were a local fruit. Good luck.

Could it be a Loquat? (scroll down, 6th picture) It is found in Tenerife and the leaves on <<THIS>> are similar. The fruit on Google looks more yellow but perhaps your picture shows unripe fruit.
I got this from a Google search for local fruit Tenerife.
