  • Allotment - Yeay

Otherhalf is signing for our allotment today, I'm so excited! It's like having a scratch you can't reach as I'm at work all week and won't be able to get there till Saturday

I'm not sure where to start really, I've got some garlic that need I need to get in and also some daff bulbs so that's the priority. Got all winter to sort the rest, get beds sorted etc. so wish us luck.

WOO, HOO, Congratulations Becky, that's brilliant news for you, I think you might still be able to sow broad beans, plus the roots have bobbles of nitrogen on them.

Thanks Ginger, trouble is neither of us like broad beans as a veg, could just use them as a green manure I suppose...

What is the best thing to grow after the broadies, what uses the nitrogen?

        Brassicas follow legumes.

I bet you'll like the broadies you've grown yourself though!
