Many Happies for Friday... (I am bound to forget.)

I was at school too. I remember that most winters had sufficient snow that our secondary school uniform included plastic overshoes that fitted over the school shoes - like a see through bootee!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

I asked my mum about it only to be told that her and my dad were out in Cyprus as my dad was doing extended national service so it was fine for them
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Winter of 63 was the snowiest I remember, but as I said I lived in a village on the edge of Dartmoor, and we went to the local primary school (5 minutes walk from home). The school never closed (but the headmaster did live in the schoolhouse next door). We used to get little bottles of milk delivered for morning break, and most winters we used to have to carry the crate indoors to thaw the milk out. Frozen milk used to make upwards icicles which pierced the foil caps of the bottles.

I was born in 61 but I have pictures in my mum and dads back garden of the snow drifted up to the top of the fences on one side of the garden.
we used to walk to school too and I don't ever remember the school closing, even when the heating broke down, we just wore coats inside.don't be afraid to innovate and try new things
remember.........only the dead fish go with the flow
