went to the lottie today after a 3 week absence due to snow ice etc.
all my brussels have been eaten by squirrils/rats and some of the garlic & onion sets were dud out too ,even my curly kale has turned into viscid green slime after the thaw.
dug out the last few manky parsnips, plot is now essentially empty.
Wonder of wonders though, the new bridge has arrived, having spent the last18 months carrying everything over a bridge over the river made up of 2 wobbly scaffolding planks I arrived today to find an engineering masterpiece has been installed.
the new bridge is 5 meters long and 2.5 meters wide built on two rsj's topped with12x 4 timber with hand rails both sides,it's certainly big enough to reverse the car over & a trailer of manure.
trouble is the approach isn't finished so it was the wobbly bridge again today.
