If you're overlooked by the railway line at your plot, make sure you're not overlooked by the communters when you widdle! I thought all the B'ham plots had loos on site? Maybe that's just the council ones.

I work for a Continence Service- that is we look after people with bladder and bowel probs and I see Ollie's got there before me with the Shewee suggestion but there are other appliances that are just as useful and some that have a lid for easy disposal or tipping on to the compost .No-one would know! PM me anyone and I will post on info.

We have the luxury of flushing loos on our site but it's a bit of a trek. Otherwise it's as Alison said. But I have to make sure shed door stays shut else people going past down the road can see especially while there's no leaves on the hedge. Some people have got porta-potties in their sheds .

ha ha ha at Ollies post!!.

you've made me realise i need to consider the toilet when i find my new flat. i was 5 mins drive from my old flat and would get organised to head to the lottie, then as soon as i'd been to the loo, i'd head off and usually had about 2-3hrs before i needed to head home again. that 2-3hrs was usually enough for me in one session anyway, so i'd head home, loo, lunch, rest and decide if i wanted to return!.
am to shy to try the bucket in the shed.....i'd need mirrors pointing in all directions to make sure noone was coming before i could relax enough to go!!!.

My shed has a net curtain tacked over the window (good for hiding the view of tools and stovc etc as well) and a mini bathroom bolt on the inside of the door. I have a lovely orange bucket, and, for when my daughter needs to go, the little seat that we used to put on the loo when the kids were little. It gets tipped on the compost heap, very useful and then swilled out with waterbutt water. I bleach it all periodically too, and tip that water on the weeds growing up from under the shed

My site has a bucket in one of the communal sheds that we all keep our tools and bits and bobs in.
I haven't used it though, as I live just round the corner, so I would rather pop home and then go back afterwards.

I too have a lock on the inside of the shed door for this very purpose! Handy when you're having your lunch in there on a windy day too.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
