Been on an allotment waiting list for about 2 years. Moved house about 8 months ago, and completely forgot about it. Got a phone call saying there was a plot available, but now I live too far away and no longer have a car

Oh well, someone else can have it And I've cleared a veg patch in the brambles at the side of my flat, so don't really need it any more.

Funny how things work out sometimes.

Well- someone else is going to be very chuffed they've finally got one!

Now that we grow our veg in the garden instead of having to drive to the lottie is really so much easier- water and toilet on hand too!!!
(Enjoy your new veg patch- if you'd forgotten about getting a lottie, I wonder how desperate you were to have one????)

If not being able to have it has made you realise that you really do want one- are there any available a bit nearer ??
