Wow bigbeefy - that's great - how big is the plot size? What facilities are you getting on the site and what are you planning to do? Don't forget to take your camera!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Congratulations, what a wonderful surprise to find there is no waiting list.

I've had mine 3 years now and I love it, and yesterday I saw that "my" frogs have returned to mate in my pond.

Woopwoop. Quick work BB . Ours was covered in weeds this time last year. It doesn't take long to get at least something growing. Sounds like you may need to get something to collect the wet stuff in .

BB, I hate you. Just joking, but you're seriously lucky! I called at my local one yesterday (I've already put my name on the list - I'm 10th) only to find that only one plot's going to be available this time. That will make me 9th on the list.

I'm soooooo jealous but good luck with it

Up at our site they're opening up an area of allotments that hasn't been used for years. There will be about 35 plots some full and some half. At the mo there's 42 on the waiting list .
