just a quick big thankyou to everyone who replied!

feeling all xcited again, i sign the agrrement for the allotment this week and as soon as its signed i can get digging and planting. i have some seeds arrive in the post today too

It's occurred to me before that growing veg is a bit like growing children!

You can read all the books, listen to the experts, hear endless, usually well intentioned, advice from friends, relatives and those that know best cos they's been there, done it and got the T-shirt.

But in the end you muddle through, doing what works best for you and it all comes out right in the end.
