  • Absolutely Over The Moon

    Well I've actually got one

After going on the list in July last year and was number 32 on the list
This week i got the nod and got the keys today and it was only in March when i contacted them again that i was told i was 12th in line

Had a choice of 3 plots ...... 2 Half plots or a full one

It wasn't hard because it was always going to be a full one

The half plots were in better condition but and better positioned but i had my sights on a full plot from the start

Unfortunately i am on nights this week and am itching to get started

I don't have much choice in the type of planting as the area is prone to slight flooding so 18" raised beds it is

There is a shed on the plot but i went straight through the floor when i walked in and the walls are not much better

I will post some pics when i get chance

There are some trees on the plot which i think are fruit trees but as yet this year there doesn't seem to be any fruit on them only leaves so i will get some photo's for identification if anyone can help

Also on the plot there are some Spuds allready in and onions not far off ready to crop

Other than an old wheel barrow there isn't much else

We are alowed fences upto 3' high and they all need replacing so i will be off to the builders yards next week for some old pallet boards

Can't wait to get started it is well overgrown but looks like with mainly grass so i will be getting on with the raised beds and a little weeding and grass cutting then it will be on with the fences and a shed

Can't Wait to get stuck in and even the OH is keen to get started

Ho did i say i can't wait if not IIIIII CCaaaaannnnntttt Waaaiiitttt
    Cheers .... John
