How many months are given on your allotment site before letters about not working your plot and threats of eviction are given ? Is there a procedure that is followed ? I'm asking purely for research reasons. Thankyou.

It depends who it is.
The ex-chair is allowed to let his 3 plots go all weedy. So is the current treasurer.

You never seem to get evicted from our site - the plot oposite mine has never really been worked in the past 2 years and was a mess before that. The plot holder has allowed his mates to dump stuff there and so it looks like a fly tipping zone and yet nothing has been done despite complaints by other holders and a waiting list
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Hmmmmmm we have a committee meeting on Sat and some of us feel that the current way is far too long winded when there's a huge waiting list. There's plots there that so obviously haven't been worked for at least the last year . There is a three letter process but it drags out over months. I know some people maybe experiencing a blip ie illness but if the letters don't go out to ask if they still want their plot how are we to know ..and the rents are soon going to be due.S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig
