  • Pics of my lottie!

Hiya - well finally got the cameramathing to connect to the computermebob and so have a few piccies to share!

Okay so the first two piccies are a view from the top and the bottom of the whole plot...

The second two pictures are bushes that I dont know.... Can anyone identify them? The first one there is a whole row of them, the second pic is a lone bush by itself Answers on a post card!!!

The row of bushes look a bit like grapevines to me.
But I'm sure someone else will give you a positive ID.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

        I'd go with grapevine too.
Are there any dead leaves tangled in at the base area which may give a clue??

There are some thorns on stems in the last picture - if there are thorns down the leaf veins it could be a rose or a bramble.

Ah the thorns are on a bramble that is going through the bush! It all needs a little taming - But not too bad eh! The guy that had it was old apparently and it just got a bit tooooo much. So it has been worked until last summer ish!

The first lot definately look like grapevines to me and the second looks alot like a blackcurrant. Cut a bit off and smell the wood. Blackcurrant wood smells of blackcurrant - that should give you a clue!
                  Good luck with it.

I would pick the french or runner beans on the second piccie and save the seed for re-sowing in a dry place. Look a bit like borlotti beans?

I reckon grape vines and blackcurrants also!

Ask your lottie neighbours they should know. I agree the first looks like a vine but could be currants grown as a standard. You will know once the leaves apear.
