Going to look at the lottie I have just been offered.

Sad way of getting it as the previous owner has died..

I cant lose this big grin on my face.. Just hope I dont offend people by seeming insensitive
Congrats on your new lottie I know the feeling all too well.
I am officially doing the paperwork next Monday so can't do anything with the plot until the cash has been handed over. I was eager to do it today but the lady who deals with the allotments is away for a long weekend ....oh how I want to get started! Scunny will you post some photos?

Dont want to take over your thread, but it appears I have been as lucky as you (condition wise)

the only weeds are amongst the sprouts

Infact the only downside I can report is that the rents have risen from £22 last year to £23

You are so lucky that rents are much cheaper in the UK. My Aunt pays buttons for hers in Manchester. Our allotment (a council allotment) is €120 p/a However as my father-in-law applied for it it will cost €60 p/a
