Oh well done, I hope you love your plot as much as I love mine, it is so rewarding, but, be warned very hard work (but worth it when you eat something you have grown)

Not sure what size 5 rods is tbh I have 2 half plots think there about 12mts x 10mts , you'll grow plenty I'm sure.

(The rod is a unit of length equal to 5.5 yards, 5.0292 metres, 16.5 feet, or 1⁄320 of a statute mile. A rod is the same length as a perch or a pole.) Thanks to Wikipedia.

well ive been to look at the plot and i signed the papers and feel i am pretty lucky lol

2 or 3 years back i had a allotment plot in a different area but gave it up as it was in a bad area and when i took that over it was a mess lol

but this plot i have a shed (it just needed a lock) there is a wheelbarrow that i was given also there is lots and i mean lots of rubarb tho i had to tidy that as alot of it was going to seed lol so all in all i am happy lol also there is a compost bin too that was on the plot lol

Must be stressed, if it's seeding - has there been much rain your way? Presume you have, but if not cut the flower heads/stalk off. It's fun finding what's what on the plot isn't it? I've found a few crowns - going to force one of mine, haven't had any rhubarb for years!
