    Hi All

I work with teenagers as a youth worker and we have just taken on an allotment near where our Youth Club is.

Rather than call it just 'The Allotment Project', we wanted make it a bit creidble for the young people and I'm asking you for some ideas for a name for the porject.

It has to be not too long and catchy.

In the interim we are calling it 'Plot 23 and a half' as we have taken on plots 23 and 24.

Any ideas would be very welcome!!

    Thanks

Have you asked the young people themselves? Or run a suggestion box with a small incentive for ideas? If they've named it they might have more ownership over the whole project. Good luck!

I've always been a fan of the TLA (three letter acronym), and teenagers may be young enough to not have seen them too many times before! So I think TAP (The Allotment Project) might be short 'n' groovy enough, or BOG (Bit Of Garden), with all the associated hilarity of 'going to the bog' etc. How about DIG (Do It Garden) or YEA (Young Eater's Allotment)...
