    Hello ,
does anybody have any ideas what to use as young plant protectors as mine are getting battered by these winds , just want something cheap and can be removed when plant is strong enough?
    Cheers,

I bought some of this a few years back and use it as a sort of cloche to keep pests off but it also acts as a good 'wind-break'. It is quite expensive, but has lasted me for 5 years thus far and looks good for a lot longer.

Debris netting will slow the wind down too - if you have any of that - plus it'll keep the pigeons off too!

I have debris netting around my sweetcorn and it has helped tremendously. It also creates a litlle 'micro climate' in the area raising the temperature slightly!
