Just out of curious if I wanted some chickens on the allotment am I allowed to have some, if so do I need pernission?

Check your allotment rules, they should state whether poultry is allowed or not.

Yep the site will be designated a livestock site if they are allowed. If it's not clear phone the council or the owner if its a private site.
