Here. I'm afraid the sound quality's poor in places, because the camera mike seems ultra-sensitive to wind, even the slightest breeze, but I think you get the gist of it. The fenced area shown near the end, near the allotment, is a wildlife sanctuary with a pond underneath the undergrowth, and a boggy area. The sound is very poor where I mention that on the video. I shot this today, about noon.

Looks like you have lots to keep you busy all winter.
I get round the 'wind blow' problem when filming by adding my commentary at the editing stage at home and mix it into the final edit.

Thanks for the tip. I'm a total ignoramus as far as video editing is concerned, but I'll investigate the video-uploading site on my puter.

Yep, I edit a lot at home (Windows MovieMaker) before posting onto youtube ~ it's dead easy. I cut out the most boring bits or any mistakes.
You can completely remove the sound if it's awful, and then on youtube add a soundtrack of your choice. Have a playAll gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

I still can't watch your vid Stephen, youtube won't play. For months now it just keeps freezing (buffering). Googling gives lots of possible reasons, none of which seem to be right. Our broadband is much slower than we were promised so it might be down to that p'hapsAll gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

I think some of the ground to the left is mine as well, but I'm not absolutely sure where mine ends and next door's starts.

Looks good! I'd definitely plant on the 'waste ground'. As long as you don't put anything really pricey or permanent in, what's the worst that could happen?I was feeling part of the scenery

I've edited the video a bit: I still haven't investigated the sound editing programme Roger/arpoet recommended in a p.m., though I've downloaded it, but I've added a speech-bubble annotation near the end where the commentary is inaudible, and also de-shaken it, so that the picture is much steadier - something else I discovered you can do on YouTube at the editing stage.
