I will actually follow my plans, and grow more of everything!

Especially peas, carrots; and this year, I will grow a pumpkin!

Should I have planted mine then? -6C here last night. I could start them off in the house. I love celeriac, just rubbish at growing it - this will be my third year. Mind you I did plant it in a stupid place last year because I did not realise how 'thirsty' it is.

Right, that's a job for later today.

... by parsnips this year. 2010 great, 2011 we had a 6 week drought straight after they were sown, and I lost them all.

This year I shall plan ahead for the drought (it's already been predicted) and plant my parsnip seed into a trench

I was really excited a couple of years ago, I managed to grow two decent sized melons, you can imagine the great feeling of harvesting them.....only for them to taste absolutely disgusting The sweet juiciness just wasn't there.

This year I'll be pleased to actually grow anything and get it home and prepared...was a bad year last year.
