I already have Boltardy, Detriot 2 and Burpees Golden seeds. I think we'll have to make do with one of those DH is already muttering dark things about my bulging seed box

Tell him that you totally understand, at his age he might not manage much...see your plot dug over in a day.

I try that trick often..."we'll get someone in, you're too old for that game now"...you should see him move at that point!

Health & Safety alert !

Just to say, the children (and some grown ups) at my school can't get their heads around sweet peas being flowers, and poisonous. If "pea" is in the name, they think it must be edible

thanks for the heads up TS. J doesn't eat things from the plot yet. Could change them to regular dwarf peas and grow the sweet peas in a "flower pot"...

I'm with Norm on this one. My ex-neighbour just used to let his kids roam around, I found one on my plot picking my peas, I wasn't very happy, he thought it was fair enough, I moved plots to avoid prison. He's still a prat but someone else's problem.

Build a large iron cage, lock them in when you arrive and collect them when you're going home. It's harsh, but fair
