Here is my revised plan - there are no salad crops showing because I have space to grow them at home.
Any thoughts?

I like that one, I assume you've got 2 permanent beds for fruit (or whatever) and then 2 beds per 4 year rotation, if so would work well and is quite similar to part of mine. The beds are big enough to be manageable but not too big although it does depend a bit on what you want to grow, I assume the 1m wide fits with your arm reach though although I find the extra 200mm of a 4' wide bed is useful to get an extra kale or sprout plant in with better spacing although you can always offset so I'm probably just prattling on
Re raised beds, I wouldn't bother with them either but a basic wooden frame (say 6 to 9" deep) that you can sink an inch or so into the soil of the bed is really handy to delineate the edge of the bed and stop the paths creeping in without you realizing it. These can easily be moved if you don't like the plan - although you are obviously set with the bed size.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
