As an adeni adden as an add on, when we ran a care home I was forced to pay £300 for a legionaires assesment! Guess what he picked on.... the fountain in my garden fish pond. He said it had to go! I said "What about all the fountains round Torquay Harbour and Trafalgar square?" Bloody jobs worth.

Yes, there are warnings on the bags overhere. Because no compost (or potting mix) company wants to be sued because you didn't know to wash up!

Of course, if you made your own compost as we did you'd be fine, wouldn't you? Always supposing that the wind and the wombat didn't pull the tarp off the compost heap, and the d@mn busy chooks didn't spread it out over the area you didn't want it....but at least none of us has legionaire's disease (I wouldn't mind if the wombat did - ooops)

As it's caught by water droplets being inhailed then telling gardeners to wash thier hands which creates the water vapour flys against the advice I'm assuming we all wash up after gardening anyway so I see this as No News being turned into news will they charge us more for bags for the extra ink used to print the warning. Do they print warnings about all the bugs that can be picked up from soil I'l take this with a pinch of salt
