Maybe you can use these new 'ponds' as a mass snail/slug drowning grave, I found a metal container full of water on sunday at my new plot so I collected up as many as I could find all day and dumped them all in the water as I went.

Hmmm...and if we get a heatwave, you can have some slug soup...lovely forage food ! (For the plants, of course. )There's no point reading history if you don't use the lessons it teaches.

I went to the allotment last Saturday after having not been for a few days, to see if the Roundup had been successful. Blimey! I didn't realise the stuff was so good as not only had the weeds gone but the whole plot had been ploughed! Roundup is incredibleAttached FilesBuilt for comfort, not speed!
