Tool repair advice

Hi all

I wondered if anyone knows where I can get some garden tools fixed/handles replaced in Greenwich/SE London? I've asked at my allotment but no joy.

When I was a lad (just after the dark ages ) replacing broken shafts/handles also the repair/sharpening of gardening implements were all in the province of the local blacksmith

I've done quite a few handle replacements (as a blacksmith) over the last 15 years so I'd suggest that too. If you ask your local farriers they should be able to put you in touch with a blacksmith, or maybe even do it themselves. Have a look on THE FARRIERS REGISTRATION COUNCIL - Find A Farrier
