Our allotment/community garden will be opening 23rd July anyone in the Irvine/Kilwinning that is looking for a plot is welcome to join the waiting list.

We have opened 50 plots nown and intend opening another 30-40 after the AGM in Novenber.

Plot sizes are in meters 10x10 10x15 and 10x30.

Managed to get my pathway marked out and raked over the top bed. I had already turned it over with the rotovator. The plot had very little weeds so not much chance of spreading anything.

The top bed i am going to use for my rhubarb and strawberries, would it be ok to plant my rhubard in there just now i have about 9 of them in 6" pots looking a bit sad.

The strawberries i will be waiting till they have finished fruiting, theres loads of them in growbags.
