Today I took the tops off some of my toms and have popped them into water just to see .....if they root I'll pot them up and see if I can get them to produce some ripe toms before the end of the season. I'm being optimistic here and hoping we get a late summer

I have some with fruit but most are just starting to show flowers.
I have only managed to harvest a single yellow cherry tomato this year, but even that is one better than last year (And there is another one nearly ready too)

One other benefit is that using sideshoots, the first truss is much lower to the ground allowing an extra truss which in a low roofed greenhouse can be a useful attribute.
