Where can you put your sheds and greenhouses?

Our Sheds are supposed to be all at the back of peoples plots in a row along the path, but I think that just makes it easier for the thiefs. I've had 3/4 "break ins" to my shed since I bought it, about 8 months.

I had suggested to people that they have the doors facing the direction we are likely to have cameras on but people have decided against this.

As a result we were unable to get images for the police when an attempted break in happened.

What sort of camera do you use, someone said if its not offical CCTV it can't be used as evidence. I'm not sure if thats true though.

It's my house's CCTV.
Before it was allotments it was a troublespot hence the cctv.

The police have used video and photos from it in the past to give youths fines for anti-social behaviour.

You can record anything that's in public.
The tv cop shows regularly have people who argue with the camera men on that though

There was a wonderful moment when one of the lads who used to be a bit of a monster came and asked if we'd look at our CCTV to see if it got the person who stole his bike.

There was something about another allotment in our area, capturing some local school kids stealing or such like. But as it wasn't an offical camera, the police wouldn't use it. Think it was a camera hidden in a bird box.

That bit actually made me laugh out loud.......

I have a Veho Muvi on my bike handlebars. I frequently get footage of drivers going through red lights, parking where they shouldn't, etc.
The police contacted me to ask that I hang onto one of my films, because they intended to prosecute based on what they saw.
