Mine is the one on the right - and the ones further down the lane are on the left.
I've just come back from a trip to rescue my mattock, so got my wellies on and waded to the shed, and retrieved it. Will be emery clothing it and oiling it later as it had a 2 inch band of rust on the end.
Also rescued my blueberry plants. And some compost for tomorrow.
What a big old mess!Attached Files

I feel really sorry for you guys and girls. I have had a plot which was prone to waterlogging in the past and I gave that up and moved to a plot on a 1 in 8 slope on another site. I was lucky enough to be able to move and my New Year wish for you is that you will either be able to do so as well or at least that the weather will be kinder to you in the future

Aargh, it is so depressing. You have my sympathy.
My plot doesn't have water lying on the surface (yet) but if you sink a spade in any of the beds the hole fills with water within a couple of minutes.
Nothing for it but to make more tea and delve into the seed catalogues until the weather warms again!

Mine was totally flooded before I went away on holidays 3 weeks back. Even the access into the allotment was flooded. Haven't been back to check and am assuming it's only got worse. Any one with similar conditions. Mine is in lower Southcote, off Brunel rd, reading.cheers Reks

That is awful, my sympathies go out to you all, my garden is steep and the ground drains well so i am counting myself very lucky.photo album of my garden in my profile http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...my+garden.html
