  • Stakes for fruit cordons - treated wood, metal ?

Hi, not posted for a while.

Looking for advice on best stakes to use to last minimum of six years or so.

What is the best solution. plan just use pinch bar to make hole, and drive in approx 2+1/2 feet and then firm.

Want to try currant and gooseberry cordons.

    Thank you

What kind of currant do you mean? Black, white, red?

As far as I'm aware, you can't cordon a blackcurrant
