      Yikes- that's a tough one!!!

normally snowdrops are in clumps, but may have been spread out a bit if someone was removing a few.

Any chance of seeing the bulbs?

      Could be wild garlic.

I'd leave them and wait and see if they were mine.

You could be in for a very pleasant surprise!

Did you check whether they smell of garlic?

I'll be honest - they just don't look like snowdrops. Find a friend to give them a sniff

I didn't see any wild garlic when i took on the plot in September... just bracken and (what i think is) creeping buttercup. Maybe wild garlic would have died off by then though?

Don't look like snowdrops to me, leaves too glossy. Could be bluebells, I am cursed with the bladdy things.

Can you dig some up and show us the bulbs? That might help narrow it down a bit.

Some of them that have got a bit bigger look more like daffs coming up - they've lost the glossiness to their leaves. They're pretty vigorous too, they're coming right through the cardboard sheeting i put down!

The bulbs look exactly like silverskin onions... i'll try and take better pics.

Close up picture of one bulb with roots and leaves might help us identify.

Daffydill leaves are more greeny/grey than the ones in your picture.
