Oh right if they move to Moston Brook they will need security fencing I recon and it will come under Manchester not Oldham as it does now so people from Oldham need to find out what effect if any it will have on them because when I spoke with the woman in charge when registering she mentioned that they kept the plot open to people from Newton Heath only due to the fact of a mess up years earlier that saw the cross boundary issue.Today I will be mainly growing Vegetables.

Shows the boundary and it'll still be inside Oldham's patch. It's not Manchester til further up Broadway.
If its like when Granby Street got moved from Long Lane they'll get a lovely new site - and compo for leaving their old plots.

17 from one family?! All different households? In theory Oldham is one plot per household but some sites have multiple plots per household due to the days when there was no waiting list.
Councils are obliged to make more allotments if there is demand. But thats a long process. We have discovered though that there are lots of bits of land about that organisations would like to pass over the 'management' of ...

I'm just glad I managed to get this one even if there is an issue with access we have plenty of trees around for leaf mold and I'm happy enough to cart my food bits to compost I think the biggest issue I have is being roped into doing more for the garden club than my own plot I have gone half's with the shed as I was expecting to be potting stuff up but now it seems that the garden club want more of a tea hut even found myself asking for permission for a spot in the shed to store stuff think I've made a mistake that needs undoing in a positive way.Today I will be mainly growing Vegetables.
