I would love a programme for guidence as to what to add to certain beds.
lime
blood and bone
pot ash
etc etc
I would also love said programme to be presented by an unknown and not a celeb then we have that person as a fresh face not someone we can refur to as he was good on GW or she was bad at edible garden.
well that makes sense to me hahahaIn the following link you can follow my recent progress on the plot

Great suggestions, I love it, when you think of the number of allotment holders or people waiting for plots , there has to be a market. It could also tackle the problem of councils ripping people off with highly inflated fees for plots. Thanks for your comments. I will put something together over the next few days unless someone else wants to do it?!Slowly takes it!

The Allotment DVD Series - Advice, Demonstrations and Top Tips for the Allotmenteer
There actually has been a programme dedicated to allotmenting. It's down-to-earth, shows new plot holders and experienced ones, money saving ideas and all sorts. You can buy the DVDs as a 3-DVD set. I have it and it's greatLast edited by SarzWix; 04-03-2013, 11:41 AM.

Look at every shop you go into in or out of town..... They ALL have gardening sections!! They didn't used to! Or, if they did, they were small, at the back or inbetween stuff. Nowadays the gardening sections in shops are huge! What does this say? Gardening is back in fashion! People want to garden. Shops and manufacturers have all realised this and they've also realised gardeners come from all walks of life and they are trying to accomodate for them all! Look at wellies... cupcakes, cherries, camoflage. Gardening gloves in every hue - a pair to suit everyone. The veg seeds sections have a veg for everyone from the mundane to the exotic. They wouldn't have it if it wasn't selling. It seems everyone I talk to has a couple of pots of something growing. Or a balcony or a veg patch where the lawn used to be! We started off with peas and beans in pots, and are now taking over the entire garden. So, my long winded opinion is that if people are all buying gardening stuff they must like gardening = there is MASSIVE interest SO make a programme and help people! Entertain along the way, be interesting, use stuff they'll have hanging around, don't show us expensive stuff (hanging garden seat pods for £700!) who can afford that? (If you have one I'm Jealous!) Just show people what to do and what they can achieve. It's easy making a programme like that I'm sureYou may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...
I'm an official nutter - an official 'cropper' of a nutter! I am sooooo pleased to be a cropper! Hurrah!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
