There actually has been a programme dedicated to allotmenting. It's down-to-earth, shows new plot holders and experienced ones, money saving ideas and all sorts. You can buy the DVDs as a 3-DVD set. I have it and it's great

I always go on youtube and put in allotments and narrow search to this week. There is always a couple of people doing tours of there and giing out abit of advice. Also "allotment alys" is a good youtube search. Ayls fowler (edible garden) has an allotment and does short clips of what she is doing.

Well, there certainly seems to be a market for something along the lines of a tv programme. I dont know about you all but I would like to see a programme on about 8pm when I have cooked dinner and cleared up and sat down with a cup of tea. And without moans a groans from my husband who is bored by the whole thing. I think that is a big wish list especially the timings. One thjng I dont want is an afternoon programme when I am down on the lottie. I know some of us have the internet but many havent. As I say it is a big wish list, would be nice if it was attainable.Slowly takes it!

A short while ago there was a TV programme called "Allotment Wars" didn't see it myself as I don't have a television and never got round to watching it on iPlayer - Heard it was more of a fake reality type show. Programme makers on all chanels are only interested in ratings and allotments will only ever be a minority sport, but with the right celebrity face it could work."...Very dark, is the other side, very dark."
"Shut up, Yoda. Just eat your toast."

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
