I have some Garlic out in the garden that where planted out at the start of the year top foliage seems ok but with never growing Garlic before and as it is not in full sun area due to garden orientation the question is how do you know when it is time to harvest them???
Today I will be mainly growing Vegetables.

Tonight The bloody slugs & snails will eat them!

The leaves start to go yellow. It'll be June/July time if we're lucky!!

Cool thanks for the heads up fingers crossed I get some as I have read they should be in a full sun area? My leeks need to come up as they are starting to go to seed. Anyway how do you know if it's time to start moving the soil as the leaf yellowing may be a soil deficiency? Just a thought. Mind you I did find a hole where one garlic had been seemed like something had taken a fancy to it and there seemed like the bulb had developed well judging by the size of the hole left
