  • How Long for cardboard to breakdown?

I put a layer of cardboard in the bottom of my raised bed.
Can anyone advise how long before it will break down, so plants can grow through to the ground?

    Thanks

roughly about 6 weeks Peanut depending on moisture, earthworm activity and the ntrogen levels in your soil
