Ok at the moment I got all my veg I managed to get in this year and am now just waiting to harvest. But being new to growing I am aware that there are plants that can be started from seed now ready to be transplanted out for winter and spring cropping. My question however is what???

We are not big on salad stuff so it's veg I'm looking at? Which to start in seed trays now? And is this in coldframe / cloch or just outside then transplant. I have also just ordered a 16ft pollytunel which I am looking to start toms and cucmbers etc next year what could go in to over winter?

I also have 4 cloches that can go in the pollytunel to if needed for added protection any advice welcomed.

I am aware that there are plants that can be started from seed now ready to be transplanted out for winter and spring cropping.

All the planting info is on the seed packets. Nearly everything will have a range of planting dates, eg from March-July. That means you can plant stuff not once, but every couple of weeks during those dates.

I'm never in the situation of having planted it all and then sitting back waiting for harvest: there is ALWAYS something to be planted.

I use a concertina file, marked into monthly pockets. In "June" I have salads, beans, peas, brassicas, carrots, all kinds of things.
