  • Mr Growers Update and video

It's the middle of June we are half way through the year and loads has been happening this year and I'm pleased to announce and well chuffed actually that my oldest daughter gave birth recently to another baby and my home now has two gorgeous granddaughters brightening up the place.

Added to that the allotment is coming on great guns the only down side are all the weeds couch, marestail, docks, nettles, thistles and to add to that bind weed and just outside the site Japaneses Knotweed

I took possession of an IBC yesterday so that will help with watering with our famous Manchester droughts

And I have recently took on another plot which has now got a 16ft pollytunnel with another to follow so all in all things going OK at the moment

Anyway take a look at the new video

It all looks great Bill, obviously a lot of hard graft gone into it. Especially impressed with your brassicas, looks like you'll be getting a big crop from them. Not sure what your mystery plant is - a leek? Or maybe an iris?

And big congratulations on the new arrival!
