Hey! You've got baby broc too!. My broc's bigger than your brocc, nyah nyah. Not bored at all. Let me know how it tastes when you get round to picking it.

Sorry if I'm boring you all
I had to do a double take of your second photo(s). It looks like a naked back sitting on a fence

      Yes, I know, I'm weird

We took a picture of the very first seed sown on our lottie as it germinated ....I still get excited ...You put in lots of hard work trying to get the damn things to grow , get despondant with the weather and the weeds and the bugs and then .......BOOM ...you get your first peas/beans/cauli or whatever and all the grief is forgotton...........

        bit like giving birth really

I squealed out loud tonight when I saw the first courgette on one of the plants. I swear it wasn't there yesterday and today it is suddenly 3" big!

My 10yr old was picking peas for me and she was playing "vegetable hunters" and giving herself a loud running commentary as she was searching out pea pods to pick. I think she's got the bug too!

Keep your eye on that courgette ..you don't want to suddenly become 3ft big

2013, first year of trying to grow food for the table, any advice certainly welcomed.

I didn't, I'll just go back and have another look then.

I found two chilli pods today and a bee in my greenhouse doing his thing

Also had my first ever warm red tomato straight off the plant in the greenhouse

Must admit waiting for stuff to harvest is the same feeling as being a kid waiting for Santa to arrive

That's why I was dancing round the garden shouting 'I've got baby broccoli'. My husband doesn't understand, you might.
