We took a picture of the very first seed sown on our lottie as it germinated ....I still get excited ...You put in lots of hard work trying to get the damn things to grow , get despondant with the weather and the weeds and the bugs and then .......BOOM ...you get your first peas/beans/cauli or whatever and all the grief is forgotton...........

I squealed out loud tonight when I saw the first courgette on one of the plants. I swear it wasn't there yesterday and today it is suddenly 3" big!
My 10yr old was picking peas for me and she was playing "vegetable hunters" and giving herself a loud running commentary as she was searching out pea pods to pick. I think she's got the bug too!Likac66

I found two chilli pods today and a bee in my greenhouse doing his thing
Also had my first ever warm red tomato straight off the plant in the greenhouse
