  • Strange flower

    Hi, can someone pleas identify this plant/flower/???? It's growing in the middle of my beetroots..no one at my site can tell me what it is. Please help.

    Its a poppy Guy - possibly an opium poppy (but don't get excited!!).
    They self seed easily - its probably come from someone's garden nearby.

          Keep the seeds- and share them with your friends to put in their gardens/plots.
          Absolutely beautiful!

          We had a neighbour on our first plot who sprinkled a pile of poppy seeds on his friend's plot for a bit of a joke.
          And yes- they did flower year after year and his was the most attractive and welcoming plot on the site. He used to dig them up as seedlings and replant them where he wanted them to grow.

              Lucky you!!!! I have been trying to get them to grow for years and they just won't!!!!
