    Is this normal to have potato plants this big grown in bags? And are they ready to lift?

    Look fine to me. Have a furtle to see if they're ready. It's hard to tell just by looking. Are they earlies, 'cause they should be ready by now? If they're maincrop they've probably got a while to go and might not do to well in a bag anyway.

      They are main crop and have flowered but I've read should remove flowers cos they are poisonous... Baffled,!!!

        Leave the flowers alone. The potato apples (seed pods) that they might form are poisonous, but you don't need to remove them, just don't eat 'em
