Wireworm resistance or control

Ok after experimenting with Maris Piper as a main crop I have dug a few up to find little holes in almost every one of the tatties which means the crop I have will not store well as there are loads they will probably rot before being eaten. I've been told Kestral are resistant to wire worm but these are an early i've been told are there other resitant types as main crops and what is the most effective way to control them?? Iv'e been told planting Mustard seed gets rid of them is this fact or fiction??

Dug up another row of tatties yesterday everyone had been attacked by wireworm and I had a number where slugs had taken up residence so it seems the plot is riddled with wireworm

Caulies have bolted as have the Brocollie, the peas did nothing but lay host to pea moth. So first year on the plot Pffffffffffffffffffffffffft when you concider the funds that have gone into it..

I got a good crop of broadbeans and my cabbages seem ok so thats something got some leeks to get in today lets hope next year brings happier results but hey.

I have wireworm too, I've read about planting sacrificial spuds but didn't get around to it this year. I don't know about mustard seed but I'm thinking of trying nematodes.

Romano seem pretty resistant to wireworm compared with other spuds I have grown, a few years back T&M was selling a plant that was supposed to attract the wireworm which then entered the plant through the roots the plant then died taking away food and shelter from the worm which the perished, cannot remember what the plant was called or if it really did work.
