Lol - You wouldn't believe how much we have had from Freecycle!

Loads of cabbage, cauli, kale, tomato and sweetcorn plants, tons of garden tools, we even got in touch with the Incredilble Edible people at Todmorden and had a road trip up there to get half a dozen fruit trees and bushes from their 'farm' for our Community Allotment.

We are also pretty much self sufficient in plant pots of all sizes for the next two years at least!

I have scoured the local car boot sales at 6am each Sunday as well, getting spades, forks and rakes for around £1.50 each.

I have found that the stuff we need is out there if you are willing to make the effort to find it.

What car boot is that Andy? the only one I knew of was the one at the Lancaster club and the British Airospace car park both now gone.

Did'nt think about the poo dropping that is a prob but even getting the school to get the kids to put compostable waste in a seperate bin can all go to help as is getting the kids to bring in old newspapers for mulch.

Yhe by all means if you need a hand give us some notice and I will see what I can do you got my number have'nt you?
Today I will be mainly growing Vegetables.

Tonight The bloody slugs & snails will eat them!

Depends on what's going on at school over half term...

Bagged would be better - we could do with a trailer though for going and fetching it.

It's at the Ashton Rugby Union Club off Ashton Road just past the Horseshoe pub.

Of course, you don't HAVE to have farmyard manure. We don't use it

Are you collecting Morrisons vouchers? We get a lot of our 'hardware' from them
