Ok iv'e had a year on plot one which has proved to be an eye opener when it comes to uncovering issues of one sort or another but after a year of horse poo and digging even though the plot is wet it is ready as it will ever be for this season.
Well not quite as I was informed the other week that the plot is wet because the water is backing up of disused waste area at the back of the plot and the pipe that carries the land water of the site which then runs through my plot is also backed up and blocked.
So the council are comming to dig up the pipe running to the waste land to see why we are getting a back flow from there and the pipe running of the site is to be presure washed to try and clear the blockage and if not it will need digging up to discover why it has become blocked.
Either way it looks like a lot of upheaval and disruption to number one plot which i'm thinking will put the plot out of use for a few months. My daughter is not to happy as she has the other half of my plot and was looking to spend time there with the grandkids but if the pipes are being dug up this will cause a safety risk for the kids.
The work needs doing but i'm a bit miffed as the plot was not too productive last year I have paid the rent for this year and I won't get any return on the outlay already.
At least I have plot two and hopefully I can negaotiate a rent free few months or more for next year if things drag out.
